i read on your profile page that you tattoo... or at least you have a machine. How did you get started? I have always been interested in tattoos and possibly tattooing. Any feedback would be wonderful.

I basically grew up around tattoos, so that helped. Otherwise, I began drawing flash for a tattoo artist I knew at a young age, and always had a fascination with the art and technique of tattooing. I never had an apprenticeship, though it's a good idea- I ended up getting a machine/kit as a gift from my dad, and then practiced on grapefruits, practice skin, and eventually people. It's really important to study up on tattooing, and to be mindful that mistakes could be fatal in this form of art. The best advice I could give, is talk to a local tattoo artist, and if you're serious about tattooing, draw draw draw!
